The filler can be glued onto the joint or placed between structures quickly conforming to the profile of the joint.

How It Works

  • Joint filler is applied as a continuous ring around entire joint.
  • Gluing is optional.
  • The excess filler is then cut to length to create a butt joint.
  • Ends of butt joint are kneaded together.

Why It's Better

  • High-quality synthetic rubber.
  • Clean and easy to use.
  • Can be used on a variety of pipes or structure types.
  • Variety of lengths including by the foot sizes.
  • Four different profile types for different applications.

Where To Use

  • Manholes
  • Wet wells
  • Square pump and lift stations
  • Stormwater structures
  • On-site treatment structures
  • Junction chambers
  • Grease interceptors

Meets or Exceeds

Closed Cell Joint Filler meets or exceeds all requirements of:

  • ASTM D1056- Standard Specification for Flexible Cellular Materials—Sponge or Expanded Rubber

For Profile Gaskets With Confined Groove Joints

  1. Before installing the gasket to the concrete pipe, clean the spigot or tongue end of pipe with a cloth or brush so that no foreign material remains.
  2. Slip gasket onto pipe and into the groove(s) provided.
  3. After gasket is in place completely around circumference of pipe, roll gasket out of joint 180° in the direction of the bell end of the pipe.
  4. Apply Press-Seal Gasket Adhesive by means of brush or spray to both rubber gasket and dry concrete pipe. When the adhesive be the comes tacky to touch, but does not adhere to fingers (usually 1 min. to 10 min., depending on the temperature) roll rubber gasket backinto grooves and press into place.

For profile gaskets on mortar (straight tongue & groove) joints

  1. Before installing the gasket to concrete pipe, clean spigot or tongue end of pipe with cloth or brush so that no foreign material remains.
  2. Apply adhesive liberally to concrete pipe spigot area only, then place rubber gasket on spigot and press into place.
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPLY ADHESIVE TO WET PIPE
  • KEEP COVER TIGHTLY CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE
  • STORE IN DRY COOL PLACE
