PLASTIC STEP INSERTS

Flex-Lok Plastic Manhole Step Inserts secures polypropylene steps in the wall of a concrete manhole or other concrete structure. They eliminate the need for drilling holes and pounding steps in.

Installation of polypropylene step, is fast and easy as the stepis pressed or driven into an interference fit in the insert cavity. Since the insert is made of polypropylene, it has a life expectance which exceeds the concrete itself and has excellent chemical resistance. The insert also serves as a protective shield against dissimilar material reactions, such as electolysis and of aluminum and concrete.  For insert mounting on form, a 2 x 2-1/2 x 3/16 blank with precision cut slots are available. Weld in place and grind form surface smooth.
