Please join me in congratulating Tim Andrews on his 25th anniversary here at Press-Seal!
While Tim and Janet were blessed last week with the arrival of their third grandchild, we have all been blessed to have Tim as our teammate over these past twenty-five years.
I remember interviewing and hiring Tim to fill our shipping clerk opening. I had no idea that I was hiring such a dedicated person that would be a key player in the future of our company.
Tim served as shipper for a brief period before he was promoted to order entry and customer service. Tim served as our first customer service manager and then became our Midwest Territory Manager fifteen years ago. While there have been times when we disagreed, it has been a pleasure to work with Tim because he always has had the customer’s best interest in mind.
Tim has been there as our company has grown and prospered and has witnessed the evolution that has made us the leader in our industry. As we are all consumed with doing the next right thing for our customers, please take a minute to realize that it is people like Tim that have instilled that attitude in our culture.
It is times like these I know what a lucky person I am.
