WS Series Waterstop Grouting Rings
WS SERIES Waterstop Grouting Rings are designed to provide additional sealing between concrete structures and connecting pipes when a mortar joint is required. WS SERIES is ideal for large diameter pipe, for entry into rough openings, or where conditions preclude use of a flexible connector. The Waterstop is a large rubber seal that is clamped to the entry pipe, stopping water flow between these two components. Mortar is then carefully applied between the structure opening and the pipe/Waterstop, providing a seal that is a dramatic improvement over mortar alone. WS Series Waterstops conform fully with the physical property requirements of ASTM C 923 and ASTM C 1478.

Installation is as easy as 1, 2, 3 | The rubber ring is placed over the pipe's outside diameter and positioned such that it will be in the middle of the structure's wall thickness. The Stainless Steel take-up clamp is then placed in the clamp area of the ring and tightened firmly with a ratchet until compression is noticeable. The pipe is ready to be mortared or cast into the concrete structure. When mortaring (or brick and mortaring), pipe connections in place, we recommend that a high-strength, non-shrink grout be specified.
